KLW host Public Exhibition for Sharnfold Farm at Stone Cross, East Sussex

On Monday 13 July 2026, KLW Planning was pleased to welcome local residents, stakeholders and members of the community to our public consultation exhibition for the emerging proposals for Sharnfold Farm Phase 3, Stone Cross.

Held at Sharnfold Farm Barn, the exhibition provided an opportunity for visitors to view the emerging masterplan, speak directly with members of the project team, and share their thoughts on the proposals before a planning application is finalised and submitted to Wealden District Council.

The proposals relate to the western part of Sharnfold Farm and form part of a comprehensive masterplan for the wider site. The emerging plans seek to deliver a total of 350 new homes, alongside new green infrastructure, children's play spaces, enhanced walking and cycling connections, sustainable drainage features, and landscape improvements. The wider masterplan also reinforces the long-term vision for Sharnfold Farm by creating a vibrant central hub centred around the historic listed barns, incorporating community, employment and commercial uses, including opportunities for a farm shop, café and creative arts hub.

We were delighted to see such a positive turnout throughout the exhibition, with many constructive conversations taking place. We would like to thank everyone who attended and took the time to speak with the team, ask questions and provide valuable feedback. The comments received will play an important role in helping to refine the proposals as the design process continues.

For anyone who was unable to attend the exhibition, or who would still like to provide comments, the consultation material remains available on the project website. The consultation period will remain open until Monday 20 July 2026, and we encourage anyone with an interest in the proposals to complete the online feedback form before the consultation closes.

We appreciate the continued interest in the future of Sharnfold Farm and look forward to reviewing all feedback received as we continue to develop the proposals.
