Following presentation of the case to the Planning Committee last week, KLW has obtained the second of 2 positive decisions to secure the conversion of the whole of a former 61 bedroom hotel in Eastbourne to a total of 23 flats and 12 holiday apartments. The hotel closed with the onset of the first Covid lockdown and the case was carefully presented taking on board the local tourism policies.
The proposals will provide a balance of much needed homes with self-catering holiday flats ensure the restoration of the Victorian buildings to their former glory, including reinstatement of porticos and removal of unsympathetic features.
