Designed by Hazel McCormack Young Architects, we are delighted to secure permission from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council to redevelop nos. 77 – 83 Camden Road in the centre of town. The scheme provides a new Sainsbury’s Local on the ground / basement floors and six apartments above: four two-bedroom and two one-bedroom properties.
A new shop front and ATM facilities will present to Camden Road along with public realm improvements to include cycle bays, service area and planting. Private amenity areas, landscaping, and cycle stores are provided on the upper floors.
We are especially pleased with this project, which evolved in consultation with the Borough and County Councils. We hope that the redevelopment and reimagining of this central site will complement the existing diverse uses and activities on Camden Road and help to regenerate the street, building on recent work undertaken by the Better Streets Project.
