Monksmoor, Daventry

The company is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved planning permission for 1,000 homes on the edge of Daventry for their client Capel House Property Trust Ltd. 

Work on the scheme originally began in 2004 as a strategic housing allocation through Daventry’s emerging Local Development Framework. In 2007 a planning application was submitted and following the issuing of an Article 14 Direction by the Highways Agency an appeal was lodged. The Secretary of State agreed that the strategic release of the site and the contributions that were negotiated were appropriate in the context of the Regional Spatial Strategy and the severely limited housing land supply that existed locally.
