Julian Black

A Partner who joined the company in 2002, Julian has many years experience of urban and rural planning within local authorities and now heads our Urban Design department. He has worked on Local Plan policy preparation covering urban and rural environmental matters with a bias towards green belt, conservation and town centre redevelopment issues.

More recently Julian has advised on the evaluation of major residential, leisure and commercial developments. He has used his experience of contextual analysis to prepare development frameworks and detailed masterplans for these schemes.
